Case study · SureSpace, Dubai
From 20 visitors a month to more than 2,000
SureSpace is a friendship and community app for expats in Dubai. We built its Android app, then its website and a question-led SEO programme. Here's what changed, using only figures the client agreed to share.

The story
Speed, then answers, then growth
The starting point
When the work started, the SureSpace website had 20 to 30 visitors a month. It was slow on phones, with a Lighthouse performance score of 66 and the main content taking 5.6 seconds to appear on mobile. Almost none of the questions expats actually search for, about making friends, settling in and finding community in Dubai, were answered anywhere on the site.
What we did
- Built the Android app, the core of the product.
- Rebuilt the website for speed: cut render-blocking time from about 1.8 seconds to 0.3, sized images for the screen and brought layout shift to zero.
- Question-led content: researched the real questions expats ask and published direct, specific answers, growing to more than 100 indexed pages.
- Technical SEO: structured data, clean URLs, sitemaps and Search Console monitoring.
The results
Monthly visitors grew from 20 to 30 to between 2,000 and 3,000, with more than 10,000 search impressions and over 200 app installs. Lighthouse scores rose to 97 for performance, 95 for accessibility and 100 for both best practices and SEO.
Why it matters for AI visibility
The same things that grew SureSpace's search traffic are what AI assistants rely on: a fast site, clear facts, and pages that answer the exact questions people ask. Question-led content is the foundation of answer engine optimisation.

Before and after
The numbers
Speed figures are mobile Lighthouse lab results. Bars are scaled per row; for timings, shorter is better.
