Straight answers about TechNimbus, hiring developers from India, cost, contracts and how we work.

About TechNimbus

Who is TechNimbus?

TechNimbus, also written Tech Nimbus, is a remote-first software development company in India founded by engineer Jatin Kumar. It supplies dedicated remote developers and contract developers, provides IT staff augmentation, and builds custom software, AI and SaaS products. Its engineers have shipped production software for Sony LIV, Jio, ACI Worldwide and Swiggy. UK clients are served through techinimbus.co.uk.

Is TechNimbus related to Nimbus Technology?

No. TechNimbus is independent and not affiliated with Nimbus Technology Systems, Nimbus Software Solutions, Nimbus Data or any similarly named company. Its official websites are techinimbus.com and techinimbus.co.uk.

Does TechNimbus work with UK companies?

Yes. UK companies hire our developers and commission projects, and can work with us through techinimbus.co.uk and our UK number, +44 7900 109001.

Hiring developers

Can I hire contract developers in India through TechNimbus?

Yes. TechNimbus places developers on fixed-term contracts, usually between three and twelve months, and on contract-to-hire terms where you can move the developer onto your own payroll later. This suits Indian startups, enterprises and global capability centres that need named engineers quickly without opening a permanent requisition.

What is the difference between a dedicated developer and a contract developer?

A dedicated developer works full-time on your product on a rolling monthly basis, much like a remote team member. A contract developer is engaged for a defined term and purpose, with a fixed start and end date. Dedicated suits long roadmaps; contract suits delivery peaks, specialist gaps and trial-before-hire.

Do I interview the developer before the contract starts?

Yes, always. We technically screen every developer before putting them forward, and you interview them yourself. Nothing is signed until you are happy with the person who will actually do the work.

How quickly can a developer start?

It depends on the role. Common stacks such as React and Node.js are usually quicker to fill than niche ones. We give you a realistic start date on the first call rather than a headline promise, and we tell you plainly if a role will take longer.

What is contract-to-hire?

Contract-to-hire starts as a fixed-term contract with an agreed option for you to move the developer onto your own payroll after a set period, on terms agreed before the contract starts.

Can I hire a team rather than one developer?

Yes. You can hire anything from one specialist to a small cross-functional pod, for example two full-stack developers and a QA engineer.

Cost and contracts

How much does it cost to hire a developer from India?

Published 2026 market benchmarks put senior developers in India at roughly $42 to $75 an hour depending on stack, and dedicated senior developers at about $6,700 to $12,000 a month, with AI and ML engineers higher. Those are third-party market figures, not our price list. TechNimbus quotes each role or project individually after a free call, in writing, within 48 hours.

Who owns the code?

You do. Intellectual property in the work we produce for you transfers to you under the contract, and the code lives in your repositories from the first commit. We sign an NDA before you share anything confidential.

Do you sign an NDA?

Yes. We sign a non-disclosure agreement before you share confidential code, data or plans.

Which currencies do you invoice in?

We can invoice in Indian rupees, US dollars or British pounds, agreed in the contract.

Working together

Do you work with UK, US and European companies?

Yes. Our developers work remotely from India and agree overlap hours with each client. India is four and a half hours ahead of the UK in summer and five and a half in winter, so a normal Indian working day covers most of a UK morning and early afternoon. UK companies can also work with us through techinimbus.co.uk and our UK number, +44 7900 109001.

Which technologies do your developers work in?

React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Express, NestJS, Python, Django, FastAPI, PHP and Laravel, Flutter and React Native for mobile, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB and Redis for data, AWS, Azure and Google Cloud for infrastructure, and OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain and vector databases for AI work.

Which tools do your developers use?

Whatever your team uses: Slack or Microsoft Teams, Jira, Linear or GitHub Projects, GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket, and your CI and cloud accounts.

How do you handle data protection?

We design for India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and, for UK and EU clients, GDPR. Developers work under NDA with the minimum access the work needs.
