SEO, AEO and GEO
Get found on Google, and get named when people ask AI
Buyers increasingly ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity before they search. We combine technical SEO with answer engine and generative engine optimisation, so your business shows up in both places.
SEO (search engine optimisation) improves how a site ranks in search results. AEO (answer engine optimisation) structures content so search features and assistants can lift a direct answer from it. GEO (generative engine optimisation) improves how often AI models such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity mention and cite a business in generated answers.
The three overlap: all depend on a technically sound site, clear facts about who you are, and content that answers real questions directly.
What we do
The work, in plain terms
Technical SEO
Crawlability, speed, Core Web Vitals, canonical URLs, sitemaps and fixing what stops pages being indexed.
Structured data
Schema.org markup for your organisation, services, FAQs, articles and breadcrumbs, matched to visible content.
Answer-first content
Pages that open with a direct answer, then the detail, written for people first and machines second.
Entity clarity
Consistent facts about your business across your site, profiles and directories, so AI models do not confuse you with someone else.
AI crawler access
robots.txt, llms.txt and page structure that let AI crawlers read and cite your content.
Measurement
Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools and regular checks of how AI assistants describe you.
Why it matters
AI answers cite a handful of sources. Be one of them.
A search results page shows ten links. An AI answer usually names three to five businesses, sometimes fewer. If a buyer asks an assistant for "the best contract developers in India for a fintech startup", the businesses in that answer get the call. Everyone else does not exist for that buyer.
Being in that answer depends on things you can influence:
- Clear, consistent facts about who you are, what you do and where, repeated the same way everywhere.
- Content that answers questions directly, with specifics such as numbers, names and dates, rather than marketing language.
- Technical access for the crawlers that feed AI systems.
- Third-party mentions on directories, reviews and publications that models trust.
This site is built on those principles. Read more in our guide, What are AEO and GEO?
How it works
How an engagement runs
STEP 01
Audit
Technical crawl, index coverage, structured data, content gaps, and how AI assistants currently describe you.
STEP 02
Fix the foundations
Speed, indexing, schema, internal linking and entity facts. The work that makes everything else count.
STEP 03
Answer-first content
New and rewritten pages built around the questions your buyers actually ask.
STEP 04
Authority
Profiles, directories and mentions that reinforce the same facts about your business.
STEP 05
Measure and repeat
Monthly reporting on rankings, traffic, enquiries and AI answer visibility.
What is the difference between SEO and GEO?
SEO aims to rank pages in search engine results. GEO aims to get a business mentioned and cited in answers generated by AI models such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity. They share foundations, but GEO puts more weight on clear entity facts, direct answers and third-party mentions.
How long do SEO, AEO and GEO take to show results?
Technical fixes can affect indexing within weeks. Rankings and AI visibility usually build over several months, depending on competition and how much authority the site already has. We report progress monthly so you can see the trend.
Can you guarantee a number one ranking or a mention in ChatGPT?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Search engines and AI models decide what to show. What we can do is remove the obstacles, publish content worth citing and build the signals those systems rely on.
Do you work with businesses outside India?
Yes. We work with businesses in India, the UK and elsewhere. UK businesses can also work with us through techinimbus.co.uk.
What is llms.txt?
llms.txt is a proposed plain-text file at the root of a website that summarises the site for AI models: who the business is, what it offers and where the key pages are. It is not an official standard, but it is cheap to add and gives AI crawlers a clean summary of your facts.
